Mr George John Hanlon

George is a Degree Apprentice at UBS Bank AG. He's worked in Wealth Management and the Investment Bank. Unique experiences working with Digital Assets and the future of TradFi banking. Insight into Wealth Management operations, due diligence and payments.

Pursuing a degree in Applied Finance (BSc) at the University of Exeter. Studying towards for the CFA Level 1. Achieved the CISI Investment Operations Specialist

A serial entrepreneur, he's worked for and on a multitude of ventures. Experiencing stages such as conception, ideation and development. Industries such as Venture Capital, Textiles and Sports.

George often commits to speaking opportunities. He speaks on Degree Apprenticeships, to employers, parents and students.

Educated at Radley College, Oxford. He studied History of Art, Geography and Drama for his A-Levels. Visualising the unique skillset it would give him, it offered him a unique yet pragmatic way of thinking. History of Art teaching him to analyze and think, Geography the importance of data, and Drama to speak with clarity and conviction.

George was integral to the Radley Video Unit, learning important leadership skills and developing a passion for film making. Responsible for coordinating in-house recordings, working on feature films and special projects. He was instrumental to the marketing strategy during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Prior, he attended Caldicott Prep school in Buckinghamshire.

George enjoys cycling and sailing in his spare time. He volunteers at his local sailing club, and spends most of his Sundays on the saddle in the Chiltern hills.

He has a passion for aviation, often known to be able to look up into the sky and tell you what aircraft is above you. Imbedded in his morning routine, reading aviation loyalty news on his commute. Interested in flight simulation in lieu of a career as a pilot.

Fascinated by financial crime, George enjoys all things Wirecard, and is closely following the developing story of ex-Wirecard COO, Jan Marselek and his stories of espionage.
