Zuckerberg had Facemash. Musk, Zip2. Nuemman, Kawlers. Hanlon? Buttonly.
Buttonly was a vision to disrupt fast fashion, conjured up over beers in an East London pub. A quick replacement service for lost garment buttons, ordered by scanning an existing button, AI tools matching against stock, and dispatching 5 closest matches to the user. User returns the 4 unused buttons and pays a nominal convenience fee.
A noble idea, but one that lacked market and use case. However, food for thought for other applications.
Sport.io looked to professionalize the semi-professional sport industry, disrupting a proportion of a £100 billion UK industry. We looked to offer a simple, safe and fast solution to find professional representation based on trust and experience. Agency is at the heart of professional sport, and finding said professionals is a challenge in itself. We looked to provide a platform for both players and agents to connect, transact and grow under one regulated roof. Holding our agents accountable, and requiring a high standard of agency.
And more to come...
